Tame the
Lizard - Powerfully Managing the Amygdala in Relationships
A New Workshop presented by
Dialetheia
You know how it is, you’re in a group of
volunteers all committed to some grand purpose and working together…
Or, you’re at work involved in a project with a
group of co-workers moving toward some strategic objective…
Or, best of all, you’re at home with your
children or spouse, the people that you love the most.
You’re doing what families do, maybe planning that grand
vacation or the visit to the in-laws for a beautiful holiday
gathering…
And then…
Boom!
Pow! Smash!

Somebody does something, or says something, or
looks a certain way, or ignores you a certain way.
And then nothing is ever the same.
The amygdala response kicks in and nobody is working
together.
Subtle insults are delivered via email, direct
insults are delivered face to face, and before you know it the grand
purpose is no longer important, the project is derailed, the
children are being yelled at and the marriage is headed for
impending doom. In
worst case scenarios, war is on the horizon.
In this course, you’ll learn about your lizard
brain, you’ll learn about its function, its purpose and how to
manage it.
Even more importantly, you’ll learn how to
manage other people’s amygdala.
Tame the lizard…
